charging.
Never leave the batteries completely discharged, even if the machine is not used.
Do not let one battery discharge separately from the other.
In the case of using ACID or PURE LEAD TRACTION batteries, every 10 recharges check the electrolyte level and if
necessary top up with distilled water. Top up only at the end of the charge.
Make sure that the batteries installed are suitable for the type of charger used. Therefore, use ONLY ACID or PURE LEAD
TRACTION batteries or GEL or AGM batteries. Never charge GEL or AGM batteries with an unsuitable charger.
Strictly follow the instructions provided by the battery manufacturer.
Danger of gas exhalation and leakage of corrosive liquids.
Danger of fire: do not approach with open flames.
4.6
Squeegee assembly and setup
During operation the rear rubber blade must be slightly and uniformly bent back about 5 mm along its entire length.
If it is necessary to increase curvature of the rubber in the central section, the squeegee's body must be inclined backwards
by rotating the related handwheel.
4.7
Installing the brushes
a)
Disk brushes
b)
Make sure the scrubbing deck is in the raised position. Make sure the key-operated switch is in
OFF
position.
1.
Thread the brushes into the seat in the flat plate below the base, turning them so that the three buttons enter into the
notches in the plate itself.
2.
Snap turn, clockwise the right one and counterclockwise the left one, in order to push the button towards the connection
spring until it is locked in place.
WARNING
-
To avoid damages to the floors, choose with care the brushes and disks’ type, more suitable
for the surfaces to treat. Be sure there are no people or objects nearby.
4.8
Recovery tank
Check that the squeegee hose and drain hose are correctly positioned. Check that the plug on the drain hose is screwed.
4.9
Fresh water tank refill
Fill with clean water at a temperature that does not exceed 50°C. Add liquid detergent in the amounts and using the procedures
recommended by the detergent manufacturer. Use only a minimal percentage of detergent to prevent formation of an excess
quantity of foam since too much foam may damage the aspiration motor.
WARNING
- Always use low foam detergent. Introduce a small amount of anti-foam detergent in the recuperation
tank before starting to work to be sure to prevent foam from being generated. Never use pure acids. Put the refill
opening cover back in place after filling the tank.
4.10 Separated chemical tank with dosing system
If the machine is dotated of a separated chemical dosing system add the chemical inside the tank to use the pre selected
washing programs. The chemical mixing is automatic based on the amount of water preset on the console by the potentiometer
(Nr. 5 of CONTROLS AND INSTRUMENTS).
4.11
Battery charge level gauge
A single tool indicates and controls:
1.
Working hours.
2.
Batteries charge level, which is displayed with the voltage and the 9 segments light bar.
3. Minimum voltage: when the battery reaches this voltage, the device cuts power to the brush and vacumm motors. When
this function is activated, the first segment of the bar will flash for about 20 seconds, then flashes the battery symbol.
WARNING
- The brush and vacuum motors automatically turns off when the battery level is at minimum. The
remaining charge can be used to bring the machine to the recharging point.
