 Structural properties of the ceiling construction, including the attachment to the mortar/concrete or any required
reinforcement, have to be evaluated and ensured by others.

1. Screw the fire damper to the existing, dysfunc-
tional fire damper or to the ducting.
2. Create a concrete base according to Fig. 87 to
Fig. 88 or equivalent.
3. Structural and fire resistance properties of the
ceiling construction, including the attachment to
the concrete or any required reinforcement, have
to be evaluated and ensured by others.
