Warning
Do not ride for longer than necessary
in poor ambient light conditions with
the Daytime Running Lights (DRL) in
use.
Riding with the Daytime Running
Lights when dark, in tunnels or where
poor ambient light is apparent may
reduce the riders vision or dazzle other
road users.
Dazzling other road users or reduced
vision in low ambient light levels may
result in loss of motorcycle control and
an accident.
Note:
• During daylight hours the Daytime
Running Lights improve the
motorcycles visibility to other road
users.
• Low beam headlights must be used
in any other conditions unless the
road conditions allow for high beam
headlights to be used.
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System
(TPMS) Warning Light (if fitted)
Warning
Stop the motorcycle if the Tyre
Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
warning light illuminates red.
Do not ride the motorcycle until the
tyres have been checked and the tyre
pressures are at their recommended
pressure when cold.
Note:
• The Tyre Pressure Monitoring
System (TPMS) is available as an
accessory option on some models.
The TPMS warning light will
only illuminate red when the front or
rear tyre pressure is below the
recommended pressure, or no signal is
received. It will not illuminate if the tyre
is over inflated. For more information,
94.
When the warning light is illuminated,
the TPMS symbol indicating which is the
deflated tyre and its pressure will
automatically be visible in the display
area.

The tyre pressure at which the warning
light illuminates is temperature
compensated to 20°C but the numeric
pressure display associated with it is
169. Even if the numeric
display seems at or close to the
standard tyre pressure when the
warning light is on, a low tyre pressure
is indicated and a puncture is the most
likely cause.
