Notes:
• Only one monitor can be connected at a time.
• To connect a Mac to an HDMI monitor with audio, go to “System Preferences” and select “Sound”. Then click
the “Output” tab and select your HDMI device from the list.
Note:
DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort audio is
available on all Mac models introduced after April 2010.
• When connecting an HDMI monitor, the distance between the converter and monitor must be no longer than
6 ft. (2 m). When connecting a VGA monitor, the distance must be no longer than 10 ft. (3 m).

1. Connect the converter to the DisplayPort or Mini DisplayPort on your computer or tablet.
2. Connect a monitor to the VGA or HDMI port on the converter.
