Troubleshooting manual
VSD indicators are not active
VSD is ready
VSD has voltage applied to all 6 (3) input phases and
it is in the range of 380/480 + 10% -15%
Apply voltage to the VSD input terminals and check that the VSD is
grounded. Not
Circuit breakers CB1, CB2, CB3 are ON
Turn on CB1, CB2, CB3 by setting the handles to the OFF position and
then turning them to the ON position. Not
The integrity of the power wires of the electronics
panel inside the VSD
Turn the VSD OFF, open the VSD using the supplied key. Remove power
from the VSD by disconnecting the power cables. Use the tester to ring
the circuits: from phase R1 through the CB1, CB5 circuit breaker to the
P16 terminal of RMPS . Use the tester to ring the circuits: from phase S1
through the CB1, CB5 circuit breaker to the P17 terminal of RMPS . If the
circuit is broken, restore. Then, connect the power cables, close and turn
on the VSD.
Not
RMPS unit operates
Turn the VSD OFF, open the VSD using the supplied key. Disconnect the
connectors (make a picture of their positions before dismantling!).
Unscrew the RMPS unit from the VSD. Install a working RMPS unit in
the reverse order from dismantling, attach the connectors as done
previously. Close the VSD, move circuit breakers to the ON position.
Not
Fuses F1, F2 are operational
Turn the VSD OFF, open the VSD using the supplied key. Using a tester,
check that the fuses F1 and F2 . If any of the fuses are blown, replace
with a working 6 A one.
Not
Circuit breakers CB5 are ON
Turn on CB5 by setting the handles to the OFF position and then turning
them to the ON position. Not
VSD is ready
