TCP/IP Settings Page
In the TCP/IP Settings page, various TCP/IP parameters for AirProjector can be
configured.
IP Configuration Method
Select the desired method to assign an IP address for your AirProjector from
“Manual”, “DHCP”, and “BOOTP”.
When “DHCP” or “BOOTP” is selected, the IP address is automatically obtained
as “DHCP client” or “BOOTP client”.
The DHCP server or BOOTP server must be running in the network to set this
option.
IP Address
Assign an appropriate IP address.
It is not necessary to assign an IP address manually when “DHCP” or “BOOTP”
is selected in “IP Configuration Method”.
Subnet Mask
Set an appropriate subnet mask.
When “DHCP” or “BOOTP” is selected in “IP Configuration Method”, it is not
necessary to set a subnet mask manually since the subnet mask is automatically
set according to the setting status of “DHCP server” or “BOOTP server”.
Gateway Address
Set an appropriate gateway address.
When “DHCP” or “BOOTP” is selected in “IP Configuration Method”, it is not
necessary to set a gateway address manually since the gateway address is
automatically set according to the setting status of “DHCP server” or “BOOTP
server”.
If the data will not be transmitted beyond the router, leave the gateway address
as “255.255.255.255”.
ARP+PING
Enable or disable IP address assignment using the ARP and PING commands
from the command prompt.
Normally, the default setting “Enable” can be used.
For how to assign an IP address using the APR and PING commands, refer to
“<11> Setting IP Address Using arp and ping Commands”.
Remark
When “DHCP” or “BOOTP” is selected:
•
If the setting is projected while a value is obtained from the DHCP server or
BOOTP server, “-.-.-.-” is displayed as the IP address/subnet mask/gateway
address of the set value.
•
If an IP address cannot be obtained for 60 seconds, the KJ-200 is started
with the IP address previously set.
