Battery
A built-in lithium battery is provided for ten years of data retention for CMOS memory.
CAUTION:
There is a danger of explosion if the battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace it only with the
same or equivalent type. Dispose of used batteries according to the manufacturer's instructions and any
applicable local regulations.
Battery Replacement
Ensure power is off and power cord is removed before beginning. Removal of the MBC8240 is detailed in
the MBT8301 Installation Guide. The battery is located on the inner side of the I/O bracket end of the
MBC8240.
Use a finger to tilt the battery horizontally out of its socket, pushing it away from the retaining “finger” and
removing.
Caution:
Do not use excessive force to remove the battery or damage may result.
To replace the battery, place the positive (+) side towards the vertical retaining finger of the battery socket
and insert downwards until the retaining finger snaps into place.
Reinstall the MBC8240 as detailed in the MBT8301 installation guide and replace any removed cables. After
replacement of CMOS battery, system date and time must be reset in the BIOS.

0-40° C. with the standard cooling solution and 350LFM of
continuous airflow

Storage Temperature:
- 40º C. to 70º C.

5% to 90% non-condensing

The system’s overall dimensions are 18.80” x 8.5” x 17.29” (LxWxH).
