Diffuser Plate Adjustment
Certain vent configurations require the diffuser plate to be adjusted (refer to the approved vent
configuration charts for details). Position # 1 is stock (bent). Position # 2 is flattened.
Change the diffuser to position #2 as follows:
1. The diffuser is located above the exhaust restrictor (remove the restrictor if necessary).
2. Remove the diffuser.
3. Bend the round portion of the diffuser so it is flat (position #2).
4. Secure the flattened diffuser plate with the screws removed earlier.
5. Replace the exhaust restrictor. See “Exhaust Restrictor Adjustment” for the restrictor settings.
