MIL-SM8DPA Packing List:
Before you start installing MIL-SM8DPA Managed Switch, please verify that the package
contains the following items:
6-Port 100/1000 Dual Speed SFP + 2-Port RJ-45/ 100/1000SFP Managed Switch
AC Power Cord
User’s Guide CD-ROM
RJ-45 Transform RS-232 Cable
Please notify your sales representative immediately if any of the aforementioned items is
missing or damaged.

Quick Installation:
1. Install the switch in the rack with mounting accessory.
2. Connect the MIL-SM8DPA switch to an AC power source.
3. The port 1–8 connector is LC SFP on the switch. Use Single-mode or Multi-mode Fiber
cable to connect between MIL-SM8DPA and end station.
4. The port 7, 8 includes two types of media --- TP and (100/1000M) SFP fiber module; they
support TP or fiber with auto-detected function.
5. Use RJ-45 interface to pre-configure MIL-SM8DPA for network management.
For example: IP address, VLAN, Port Trucking, STP, etc.
