Connectors and Cables
AUI Male Connector
AUI D-sub 15-pin male connector accommodates AUI drop cables (50 meters max.). The AUI connector is used to
connect the transceiver to the AUI port of an Ethernet device such as an Ethernet MAC controller, a repeater, or
a hub via an AUI drop cable.
The AUI connector is shown in Figure 4. The AUI male connector pin assignments are show in Table 1.
