Error connection or no connection of
the communication line: communication
interruption appears when two indoor
units are connected, leading to E05
for the indoor unit at output end and
E29 for the indoor unit at input end;
if communication interruption appears
between the indoor and outdoor unit,
E29 is reported for the indoor unit, and
E05 can be found by means of history
enquiry.
For the disturbance from e outside,
remove the disturbance source, to ensure
communication earthing.
PCB board is bad.

When the number of signals
of indoor unit is the same as
DIP number of the outdoor
unit, SLEEP on the wired
controller or TIMING on
the remote controller can
be used to eliminate the
fault, then manually start to
recover.

Bad inverter chip, replace inverter PCB
board.
Strong interference nearby the unit or the
power system, remove the interference
source.
Bad communication between the main
control PCB board and drive PCB board
of the outdoor unit, please check the
connection.

After the signal becomes
normal, SLEEP on the wired
controller or TIMING on
the remote controller can
be used to eliminate the
fault, then manually start to
recover.

IPM module
protection

Protection signal of
module is received by
the outdoor unit.

Display the
fault code, the
compressor
stops running
immediately
and shutdown.

Temperature of the radiator is too high,
please check the ambient temperature as
well as heat exchange of the radiator and
the fan of outdoor unit, and whether the
radiator is blocked by dirt.
Bad radiator sensor.
Overcurrent and overvoltage appear to
IPM module, please check whether the
power supply and compressor load are
normal.

After the protection is
removed, SLEEP on the
wired controller or TIMING
on the remote controller
can be used to eliminate the
fault, then manually start to
recover.
