Outdoor unit address DIP 5.
Different outdoor unit addresses defi ne different outdoor units for network centralized control. Assign
address DIP according to the quantity of outdoor units when install the system.
There are two 8-digit DIP switches in the outdoor unit PCB, which are SW1 and SW2. S1, S2 and S3
of SW2 control outdoor unit address as followings:

S4 and S5 of SW2 are pipe length correction DIP switches as followings:

S6 of SW2 is set for distinguishing cooling only and heating pump units as followings:

S7 of SW2 decides indoor unit assigned address mode as followings:

When S7 of outdoor DIP SW2 is 1 (whether S8 is set to 1 or 0), the outdoor unit will be in a mode of
assigned address, which will look for the address of different indoor unit within 20s. If address of all
indoor units can be found within 20s, alarm code E18 will be displayed on the monitoring interface at
PC end due to S7=1, to prompt the user to dial S7, then S7=0. This alarm will make the whole unit to
be stopped, except for the switch key on the wired controller or remoter controller used by assigned
address, other keys will be invalid, therefore the unit can't be started. If address of all indoor units
can't be found within 20s, then address of all indoor units in the network will be cleared. Address
assignment can be carried out one by one with the start or shutdown key on the wired controller or
remote controller. After completion of assignment, alarm code E18 also will be displayed on the wired
