Notes:
Don't bend the pipe sharply, to avoid breakage. In order to prevent pipe breakage, bending radius
of the bending part shall not below 150mm.
Pipe fracture will be caused if the pipe is bent repeatedly at the same position.
Nuts on the indoor unit or connecting pipe only can be removed just before the pipe will be
connected.
Connection of refrigerant pipe
Prior to application of copper tube, sealing cap or waterproof tape shall be used, to prevent dust or
moisture from entering it.
Before connection of copper tube, the proper amount of refrigeration oil shall be applied on the
mating surface between the fl aring and the joint surface, to reduce gas leakage (Figure 13).
Correct connection of connecting pipe and fl ared pipe will confront each other, then gently tighten the
fl ared nut, to obtain good mating (Figure 14).
Tighten the fl ared nut with proper wrench.

The pipe must be fi lled with nitrogen during welding.
If no nitrogen replacement is done for the refrigerant pipe or the pipe isn

to welding, a large amount of oxidation fi lm will be formed inside the pipeline, which will exert bad
infl uence on the valve and compressor of the cooling system, so as to affect the normal operation of
the air conditioner.
