Selection of refrigerant pipe material
You should not use the refrigerant pipe whose interior is sticked with harmful substances, such
as sulphur, iron oxide, rubbish, scraps grease or moisture (pollutants). Oil content attached to the
refrigerant pipe shall be less than 30mg/10m.
Selection of wall thickness of the refrigerant pipe shall be based on local laws and rules, design
pressure of R410A shall be 4.0MPa.
You should use the refrigerant pipe made of the following material. Material: Phosphorus deoxidizing
seamless copper tube (above GB1527 TP2).
Branch pipe will be applied at the branches of refrigerant pipeline, whose installation shall ensure to
form horizontal or vertical branch.
Operation of the refrigerant pipe must be done within the maximum permissible length, permissible
height difference and permissible length after branching.
Flaring
Cut the connecting pipe to proper length with pipe cutting machine. It is recommended that the pipe
shall be cut to a length greater by about 20-30cm than the required copper tube.
Remove the burrs at end of the copper tube with solid core drill, shown as Figure 1 and 2. During
drilling a solid core, end of the copper tube shall be kept downward, to ensure no copper cuttings fall
into it.
Take out the fl ared nut from the unit and ensure it to set on the copper tube.
Flare at the end of copper tube with fl aring tool (Figure 3).

A good fl aring shall be provided with the following characteristics:
Internal surface shall be smooth and glossy.
The edges shall be smooth.
Length in the cone side shall be uniform.
