Electrical Wiring
• Power supply shall be maintained within nominal voltage range. All external power supply to
the unit must be grounded and linked to indoor unit grounding as well as to outdoor unit
grounding.
• All installation of electrical wiring shall be performed by qualified personnel and in accordance
with the unit’s electrical diagram.
• Wiring circuit installation must have a disconnect at a minimum distance of 3mm.
• Install fault current protector conforming to local and national electrical appliances.
• All electrical supply wiring and communication wiring shall be organized in such a way that
they many not interfere or enter into contact with refrigerant lines and valves.
• Do not apply power without having carefully verified all wiring installations.
• If supply cord is damaged, and to avoid any risks, this cord it must be replaced by the
manufacturer or by its service agent, or by qualified personnel.
Electrical wiring connection
1. Remove screws from the electrical cover. Should there be no electrical cover on the outdoor
unit, remove screws from the maintenance protector panel and lay it aside.
2. Connect wiring to corresponding terminals identified by numbers on the terminal block of
indoor unit and of outdoor unit.
3. Adjust wiring inside the control panel with the use of tie-backs. Replace cover or protector
panel.
4. Wrap remaining unused cable terminals with PVC isolating tape to prevent their contact with
other electric or metallic components. Due to incoming heat from the refrigerant circuit, keep
all interconnecting wiring away from any copper tubing.
WARNING
Danger of High Voltage
Failure to comply with this warning code could result in death or serious injury. Disconnect all
electrical supply, including remote disconnects, before servicing the unit. Follow all lockout
and labeling procedures to ensure that power supply cannot be applied inadvertently.
