12.4.1
Save Temp Procedure
The Save Temp procedure must be done correctly to assure your ability to restart your
job after the KMX has been turned off and without needing to recall your program and
reset your tools.
•
Go to DRO Mode
•
Call out Tool #1
•
Load Tool #1 into the spindle
•
Move X, Y and Z to their absolute zero position
•
Go to Prog I/O
•
Press SAVE and then SAVE TEMP
During the time the KMX is off be sure nothing has moved the table or adjusted the
tools. If uncertain, reset your absolute zero and/or tool offsets.
12.5
Deleting a Program on Your ProtoTRAK KMX Thumb Drive
Press MODE, PROG I/O, and DELETE keys. The display will show:
•
Use Column Forward and Back to highlight the proper column showing the
program you wish to delete.
•
Use the Up and Down Arrow keys to highlight the part number you wish to
delete.
•
Press Delete to permanently delete the program from the KMX thumb drive.

Erase Current Program
Erase Program
will erase the program from your current memory. You do this to
clear current memory in order to write another program.
