INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
1.
Start installation under the driver side of the vehicle. Locate and remove the plastic cover from the floor panel if equipped.
Pay close attention to the location of all fasteners for the plastic cover.
2.
Locate the (2) factory hex bolts connecting the bottom of the frame channel,
(Figure 1)
. Remove the rear hex bolt only,
(Figure 2)
.
3.
Select (1) Front/Center Mounting Bracket and (1) Front/Center Support Bracket,
(Figure 3)
. Bolt the Support Bracket to the
top of the Mounting Bracket with (2) 8mm x 20mm Hex Bolts, (4) 8mm Flat Washers and (2) 8mm Nylon Lock Nuts,
(Figures 3 & 4)
. Leave hardware loose at this time.
4.
Attach the front Bracket Assembly, (with the Support Bracket on the outside of the pinch weld), to the bottom of the frame
channel with (1) 8mm x 30mm Hex Bolt, (1) 8mm Lock Washer and (1) 8mm Flat Washer,
(Figure 4)
. Do not fully tighten
hardware at this time.
