Overview
The versatile Traffic Logix SafePace® 650 radar feedback sign offers a relatively lightweight, portable
speed display and dynamic messaging solution that doesn't compromise on digit size or visibility. It
displays vehicle speed in full 15" LED digits and can be seen from up to 600 feet away. This innovative
sign is also capable of displaying text, graphics, or animation. Whether you want to simply alert drivers
of their speeds or notify them about an event, construction or dangerous road conditions, you can
choose the message to display. The user friendly management interface lets you program your radar
sign to show different messages based on scheduling or driver behavior.
The sign has a weight of around 30 lbs and, using optional battery power, it can function autonomously
for up to two weeks. The SafePace® 650 dynamic message sign can also be combined with the
SafePace® Beacons to create a complete School Zone System, and can be mounted to the SafePace
Cruiser or Cruiser LT for portable speed control.
This manual describes the installation of the radar sign along with an optional solar panel.
Available Power options
The
SafePace® 650
radar sign is energy efficient. The low power sign utilizes the most power-efficient radar
technology available. It comes with the following power options:
SafePace® 650 AC Powered
SafePace® 650 Battery Powered ( includes three 4-cell lithium batteries that provide up to 2 weeks
of operation between charges)
SafePace® 650 Solar Powered ( with three 4-cell lithium batteries for backup)

Sign Portability and Add-ons
The SafePace® 650 radar feedback and messaging sign is a lightweight sign. When used in conjunction
with the optional Universal Mounting Bracket, it is quite portable. At just around 30 lbs, the lightweight
sign is easy to transport and can be mounted in minutes.
Compact or full size face
Choose compact 4-inch or full size 6-inch Your Speed text, both of which include full size 15-inch digit
speed display.
