Operating Instructions
General
The backlight can be toggled on and off by pressing the N/

/
backlight button.
Although the instrument performs an automatic zero during the
start up procedure a manual zero can be performed by pressing and
holding down the Y/
▲
/ZERO button until the following screen is
displayed:-
NOTE-Manual Re-Zero should only be performed in a clean air
environment.
To turn the instrument OFF press and hold down the ON/MENU but-
ton till the instrument beeps.

The presence of Combustible Gas will be shown as follows:-
An audible tone can be heard by turning the thumb wheel until it
clicks to the on position.
