1 Check output condition of diagnostic trouble code 51.

PREPARATION:

Setting the test mode.
(a)

Turn ignition switch OFF.

(b)

Using SST, connector terminals TE2 and E1 of check con-
nector.

SST 09843 -- 18020

(c)

Turn ignition switch ON.
(For checking terminal A/C, start the engine.)

(d)

Using SST, connect terminals TE1 and E1 of check con-
nector.

SST 09843 -- 18020

CHECK:

Check if code ”51” is output by the check engine warning light.
