Air Conditioner Operations and Performance

In the case of a power failure, all operations will stop.

To resume operations, push the ON/OFF button.

During heating

When dust or dirt is excessively adhered to the air filter
of the indoor unit.

When the air outlet of the indoor unit is blocked.

A heat pump system, which gathers outside heat and

emits it into the room, is used for heating. When the
outside air temperature falls, the heating capacity of the
unit is reduced.

When the outside temperature is low, it is recommended

that you also use other heating equipment.

 Check before operation

Turn on the power switch at least 12 hours before
starting operation.

Make sure the earth wire is securely connected.

Make sure the air filter is attached to the indoor unit.

 Protective device (high pressure switch)

 Heating performance

 Defrosting during heating

If frost is formed on the outdoor side heat exchanger
during heating, defrosting is automatically performed (for
approximately 2 - 10 minutes) to maintain the heating
effect.

The fan of the indoor unit is stopped during defrosting.

 Blackout

 Three-minute protection

The outdoor unit will not operate for approximately 3
minutes after the air conditioner has been immediately
restarted after stopping, or the power switch has been
turned on.
This is to protect the system.

When the protective device activates, turn off the power, remove
the cause, and then restart running.

 Fan rotation of stopped units

While other indoor units operate, the fans on indoor units

i n  s t a n d - b y  m o d e  r o t a t e  f o r  s e v e r a l  m i n u t e s
approximately once per hour to protect the machines.

Cooling/Heating operations of a package air conditioner

<Standard type>

Each unit can be controlled individually. However, indoor units

connected to the same outdoor unit cannot perform cooling and
heating simultaneously.
When you attempt simultaneous operation, indoor units
performing cooling are stopped, and the   indicator is
displayed on the remote control.
The indoor units performing heating continue running.
When you attempt an operation outside of the configured
settings, the   indicator is displayed on the remote control
and operation stops.
If operation is fixed to cooling or heating by the air conditioner
administrator, only the configured settings apply to the
operation.

 Characteristics of heating

Air does not come out immediately after heating starts. Heated

air comes out after 3 to 5 minutes (depending on room/outside
temperatures), after the indoor heat exchanger warms up.

When the outside temperature increases, the outdoor unit may

stop.

The high pressure switch stops the air conditioner automatically
when an excessive load is applied to the air conditioner.
If the protective device activates, the unit stops running and the
operation lamp blinks.

When the protective device activates,

 and the check code

are displayed on the remote control. The protective device may
activate in the following cases:

During cooling

When the air inlet or air outlet of the outdoor unit is blocked.

When strong wind blows continuously against the air outlet of the

outdoor unit.
