Operating air conditioner without remote
controller
In the following cases, the air conditioner can be operated without the remote controller using the temporary
operation button on the signal receiving unit.
• The battery in the remote controller has expired.
• A trouble has occurred in the remote controller.
• The remote controller has been lost.

Start
Push the temporary operation button for about 1 second (under 2 seconds), then release to operate the air
conditioner in the same setting as it was last operated by the wireless remote controller.

Stop
Push the temporary operation button once more (for about 1 second).
REQUIREMENT
Do not hold down the temporary operation button for 3 seconds or more.
(Holding down the button will put the air conditioner into forced cooling operation or other mode used during
servicing or relocation.)
