• The temperature cannot be adjusted when “Fan” is
selected as the operation mode.
▼ When dual automatic mode
In dual set point setting, the temperature set point of individual cooling and heating can be set to adjust the
indoor temperature.
Thermo.OFF for temperature range between the temperature set points for cooling and heating.
If you wish to use the dual automatic mode, ask your dealer to set the setting.

Æ Push [ MENU] to con fi rm the settings and return
to the normal display.
Æ Push [ CANCEL] to cancel the settings and
return to the normal display.
NOTE
When connecting to an air conditioning control system which does not support dual set point
• The temperature set point, a value half the heating temperature and Cooling temperature set point will be
displayed.
• When temperature setting has been changed by the unsupported controller, the cooling temperature set point and
heating temperature set point displayed on the dual set point screen will be set automatically.
• For details, contact the dealer where you purchased the air conditioner.

46°F (8°C) operation (For object pre-heating)
The air conditioner can control the heating temperature to about 8°C in the heating mode.
The 8°C heating operation requires settings with the wired remote controller. Ask the installer or dealer for
the settings according to the installation manual of the indoor unit.
Start
1. Set the displayed temperature to 64°F in the heating mode by pushing TEMP. button.
2. Set the displayed temperature to 46°F by pushing TEMP. button for at least 4 seconds
Stop
1. Set the displayed temperature to 64°F by pushing TEMP. button.
• The air conditioner returns to the normal HEAT mode. Select a desired temperature and operation mode.
NOTE
• The discharged air temperature is lower than that in the normal heating operation.
• The room temperature may not be heated evenly depending on the remote controller installation location.
• The room temperature may not reach 86°F depending on the room size or the installation conditions.
• Setting for fan speed is available during the 46°F heating operation.
The 46°F heating operation is cancelled in the following cases.
• When operation is stopped with button
• When another operation mode is selected with button
• When temperature setting or operation mode is changed or operation is started / stopped by the wireless
remote controller or the central control remote controller.
• When this operation mode is used, observe proper operating hours and periodic maintenance by service staff is
recommended.
