To access the inside of the server, remove the bezel and side cover. For instructions,

Perform any required maintenance.

Reinstall the side panel and bezel.

Reconnect all signal and power cables.

Turn on the server and run any required system checks.
Some optional devices require you to reconfigure the server’s software, and/or
change jumper, and/or DIP switch settings before the device can be used.
In addition to the instructions in this chapter, refer to the manufacturer’s user manuals for
the devices you are installing/removing.
Toshiba supplied hardware items
The following table lists the hardware item that Toshiba provides with your server.
CAUTION: Make sure that components handled during system maintenance are
properly installed and connections are securely seated. Also check that no tools or
hardware items are left inside the server.
HINT: The procedures for removing and installing hard disk drives depend on the
drive type—IDE or SCSI. Be sure to check the drive’s specifications before
attempting to install or remove a drive.
