TOSHIBA Hi-Speed Port Replicator II
Quick Tour
This section identifies the various components of your port replicator.
Front view
The following illustration shows the front of the Toshiba Hi-Speed Port Replicator II. For a description of
each component, please refer to the accompanying table.

Component
Description
Power button
Turns the docked computer on.
Note:
Pressing the power button has no effect if a computer is not
connected to the port replicator.
Computer connector
Connects to the computer’s expansion port.
Docked light
Glows green during normal operation. Turns off when the computer
completes its disconnect sequence. When the Docked light turns off,
it is safe to disconnect the computer.
Eject button
Begins the computer’s disconnect sequence.
Note:
Once the Eject button is pressed and the Docked light turns
off, the computer cannot communicate with external devices
connected to the port replicator. Undock and re-dock the computer
to reestablish communication.
Eject lever
Disengages the computer from the port replicator.
Note 1:
Please refer to “Undocking your computer” Section to learn
how to disconnect your computer from the port replicator properly.
Note 2:
When the Port Replicator lock switch is in the locked
position, the Eject lever cannot be operated. For more information
on the Port Replicator lock switch, see “Securing your port
replicator” section for details.
