Keep foreign metal objects, such as screws, staples and paper clips, out of
the Memory media slot. Foreign metal objects can create a short circuit,
which can cause damage and fire, possibly resulting in serious injury.
Microphones The built-in microphones allow you to import and
record sounds for your application. Refer to the
Sound System and Video mode section for more
information.
Strap hole for pen This hole is used for hanging your pen with a
string.
Pen hole This hole is used for inserting the pen clip.
Web Camera (back) Your tablet is also equipped with a back Web
Camera used for recording video or taking
photographs.
Do not point the web camera directly at the sun.
Do not touch or press strongly on the web camera lens. Failure to do
so might reduce image quality. Use an eyeglass cleaner (cleaner
cloth) or other soft cloth to clean the lens if it becomes dirty.
Wireless
communication
antennas The tablet is equipped with the Wireless LAN and
Bluetooth antennas.
Speakers The speakers emit sound generated by your
software as well as audio alarms, such as low
battery condition, generated by the system.
Internal Hardware Components
This section describes the internal hardware components of your tablet.
The actual specifications might vary depending on the model you
purchased.
Battery pack This tablet includes a battery pack inside.
However, do not attempt to dismount or replace it
by yourself. Contact an authorized TOSHIBA
service provider, if necessary.
The rechargeable lithium-ion battery pack
provides power to the tablet when the AC
adaptor is not connected.
