Step 2B: Make Station Assignments on CIX
1. Select Station > Station Assignments (Program 200). A dialog box will pop. Click to select
IPT_L/SIP/IP_VA/IP_ATT/IP_VM. Specify the Prime DN for this particular Attendant Console.
The number entered here is the DN used to reach this specific console.
Do not use 0 as the
Prime DN.
Dial 0 is set in “Create Dial 0 Destination” on page 6 .
Do not assign the
Attendant Console PDN to another DKT or station.
2. Click on OK. Notice that the program has changed to 260.
3. Enter the first four digits of the xIPU card equipment number (cabinet/slot of LIPU), do not enter
a port number.
4. In the 01 Type field pull down list select ATT.
5. Toshiba recommends entering COS 10 at the following three prompts:
“COS DAY1= 10 ”, “COS DAY2= 10 ” and “COS Night= 10 ” (preferred).
6. For Call Progress Tones assign Dial Tone. This assigns Dial Tone as the tone heard after LCR
access codes are dialed (required).
7. You must create this as a new port. The ATT parameter cannot be changed later. If the DN
already exists it must be deleted and then added as a new ATT port.
