Step 4)
Next, place a spare print head to be installed on an antistatic sheet, remove the print head fixing clip
(green part), completely remove “Loctite”, and loosen the print head fixing screws.
Fit the same jig which snugly fits the original print head to the spare print head, and tighten the print head
fixing screws.
Step 5)
Re-attach the print head fixing clip (green part), and the adjustment is completed.
Install the spare print head on the printer, perform a test print.
If print quality is still poor, refer to
Section 17.2.3 Adjustment procedure for the installed print head
and follow the procedure.

Step 1)
Remove the print head from the printer.
Note 1: Be sure to place the print head on a soft cloth or antistatic sheet.
Note 2: Completely remove “Loctite” applied to the print head fixing screws.
Failure to do this disables accurate measurement of the adjustment value.
