Expansion Options

Using an external keyboard

Using the arrow keys, move to the USB-FDD Legacy
Emulation option in the Peripheral section and press the space
bar to select

Enabled

NOTE: Enabling Legacy Emulation may interfere with other
USB devices while running Windows. To set your system
back to the default setting, follow the same instructions, but
click Disabled under the USB tab.

Detaching the external USB diskette drive

To disconnect the cable, gently pull the connector out of the USB
port.

Using an external keyboard

If you prefer to use a standard keyboard, you can attach a PS/2-
compatible keyboard to your computer through the LAN Port
Replicator, the optional I/O Adapter, or the optional Multimedia
Port Replicator.

Alternatively, you can connect a USB keyboard to the USB port
on the computer or on one of the expansion units.
