Expansion Options
Using the optional Multimedia Port Replicator
When the connector is fully seated, it clicks into place. Don’t
force the bar into position.

Connect the peripherals to the LAN Port Replicator. For more

Turn on the network function by sliding the on/off switch,
located on the end of the LAN Port Replicator. This switch is
only used for the network function. All other connectors are
continuously active.

Using the optional Multimedia Port Replicator
The optional Multimedia Port Replicator provides an Ethernet
module, a SelectBay, a PC Card slot and a range of additional
ports. It plugs into the expansion port on the right side of the
computer.
The SelectBay enables you to use a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM
drive, or a second hard disk drive.
The PC Card slot takes a single Type II card. For more

Multimedia Port Replicator ports
The DC IN jack on the Multimedia Port Replicator can be used
instead of the DC IN jack on the computer. Slide the DC IN jack
panel to access the appropriate jack for your AC adapter.
