Lubrication

Grease more frequently when operating conditions
are extremely dusty or sandy.

Grease Type:

No. 2 lithium or molybdenum grease

1.

Disengage the blade-control switch (PTO), move
the motion-control levers to the N

EUTRAL

-

LOCK

position, and engage the parking brake.

2.

Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait
for all moving parts to stop before leaving the
operating position.

3.

Clean the grease fittings with a rag.

Note:

Make sure that you scrape any paint off

the front of the fitting(s).

4.

Connect a grease gun to the fitting and pump
grease into the fittings until grease begins to
ooze out of the bearings.

5.

Wipe up any excess grease.

Adding Light Oil or Spray
Lubrication

Service Interval:

Every 100 hours

Lubricate the deck-lift pivots.

Important:

Make sure that the cutting unit

spindles are full of grease weekly.

Shut off the engine, remove the key, and wait

Grease the mower-deck idler pulley pivot until
grease comes out the bottom (

4.

If your machine has greasable spindles, grease
the 3 spindle bearings until grease comes out
the lower seals (
