Removal
1. Park the machine on a level surface, disengage the PTO, and engage the parking brake. Stop the engine, wait
for all moving parts to stop and remove the key.
2. Release the hood latches on both sides and lift up to lock position.
NOTE: Will need assistance before continuing.
3. While one person is supporting the hood the other remove the upper cotter pin and washer securing the prop
bracket to the machine.
4. Remove the prop bracket from the pin.
5. Continue to support the hood, remove the cotter pin and washer from the right hinge pin.
6. With a person on each side of the hood, slide the hood to the right on the hinge pins until free.
7. Remove the hood from the machine.

Heavy Object, To Avoid Muscle Strain Or Back Injury,
Use Lifting Aids And Proper Lifting Techniques When
Removing Or Replacing heavy objects.
