The ports on the main manifold are marked for easy identification of components
and connections. Example: P is the pressure connection port from gear pump
(P4) and SV1 is the location for the high/low speed solenoid valve; refer to the
hydraulic schematic in

Appendix A (page A–1)

to identify the function of the

hydraulic lines and cartridge valves at each port.

The main hydraulic manifold include several zero−leak plugs. These plugs
have a tapered sealing surface on the plug head that is designed to resist
vibration induced plug loosening. The zero−leak plugs also have an O−ring as a
secondary seal. If removing a zero−leak plug is necessary, lightly rap the plug
head using a punch and hammer before using a hex wrench to remove the plug:
the impact will allow plug removal with less chance of damage to the socket head
of the plug. Tighten the plugs to the torque value provided.
