2.2. Unpacking
2.2.1. Removal of the transport flanges
To prevent the moving parts of the machine from being damaged during transport, locking parts
are placed around and in the interior of the machine.

To prevent the mechanical parts from rusting during maritime transport, they are coated with a
rustproof treatment.
2.5. Alignment of the bolt-making machine / bar feeder
Warning !
Do not remove the transport clamps until the machine is positioned and completely stabilised.
Starting condition - Machine in place and stabilised.

1. Remove the wooden wedges and the cords outside the machine.
2. Open the cover and remove the locking parts located in the interior.
Warning!
All installations must be performed by a TORNOS technician or an authorised specialist who has
taken an installation training course held by TORNOS SA.
Starting condition - Machine in place and stabilised.

1. Carefully clean all the parts coated with rustproof treatment.
• Use a rag dampened with detergent, benzene or petrol.

This operation is to be done in a well-ventilated area.
Warning !
Do not change the settings or damage the machine parts.
Avoid using compressed air or products which can harm the synthetic materials on the machine.
