PREPARATIONS

CONNECTING THE POWER CORD

Make sure the POWER switch of the instrument is turned OFF.

Tilt the body slowly so that the POWER switch is on top and the power inlet at the bottom can be
seen.

Connect the power cable to the Power inlet.

Insert the power cable plug into the 3-pin AC
grounding receptacle.

CAUTIONS

• Be sure to connect the power plug to an AC 3-pin receptacle equipped

with grounding. Connection to a receptacle without grounding may
cause fire and electric shock in the case of shortcircuiting.

• To avoid electric shocks, do not handle the power plug with wet fin-

gers.
