Carefully place the cylinder upside-down and

lock it in the vice (Do not lock the vice jaw
on the ball joint). Fit the shock spring over
the cylinder.

IMPORTANT: Do not let the rod retract into the
cylinder. If this happens the air piston be forced

up and the air chamber size will change.

Install the shock spacer.
