The oil retainer needs to be installed a 

specific way. It should be installed with the 
rim(1) toward the inside of the seal 
housing facing the oil. There is writing on 
the outer side of the retainer.

The oil retainer needs to be installed a 

specific way. It should be installed with the 
rim(1) toward the inside of the seal 
housing facing the oil. There is writing on 
the outer side of the retainer. 

 

 

2.

 

To insert the oil retainer in to the seal 
housing, squeeze it in and press it into place. 

 

3.

 

Install the wiper with the rims towards the 
outside.
