If there is still air presure inside the shock unscrewing the shock cap is

extreamly dangerous.

Depress the air piston to remove the
pressurized air repeat this several times

during the unscrewing of the shock cap

10.

Feel the shock cap it should feel loose and

turn easily if not there could be air pressure
still inside.

CAUTION

Make sure that the shock absorber is not pointed at anybody.

11.

Unscrew the shock cap.
