Internal inspection and reconditioning

Carefully remove the nuts that hold the
spring housing.

CAUTION: The spring housing is under

pressure from the spring. Use caution
when removing the last nut.

   13mm

Remove the spring housing, spring and
sleeve.

Clean out the grease and inspect all of the
nuts and bolts. Make sure none are missing,
loose or broken.

Secure the CVT holder in a vice and place
CVT on the holder.

Use CVT wrench TM50185

to unscrew roller

plate (counter clockwise).
