Master Cylinder Replacement

WARNING!



Use eye protection goggles to protect eyes from brake fluid. Should
brake fluid enter eyes; rinse thoroughly with water and seek medical
assistance.



Brake fluid is harmful to skin, wear gloves! Should fluid spill on skin
rinse well with soap and water.



Brake fluid quickly ruins painted surfaces; should fluid spill wipe it up
immediately.



Never reuse old brake fluid or mix different brands. Doing so may cause
the brake to be ineffective and or deteriorate the rubber hosing.



Only use brake fluid that has been properly sealed and stored.

Disconnect the brake hoses and copper lines

from the master cylinder.

Remove the two nuts that hold the master
cylinder in place.

Nuts – 13mm

Replace the master cylinder, tighten the nuts
and reinstall the hoses and lines.

If connections are damaged replace them.

Bleed brakes.
