Drain the engine coolant, into an appropriate
container, by removing the lower radiator
hose on the lower left side of radiator. Plug

open hoses and radiator to prevent spillage
or contamination of the cooling system.

container, by removing the lower radiator
hose on the lower left side of radiator. Plug

open hoses and radiator to prevent spillage
or contamination of the cooling system.

Using a 16mm socket, loosen the center bolt
on the engine mounted CVT clutch. If the
clutch does not slide

easily off the shaft, you

may need to use special tool TM50165 (CVT
Extractor). Also remove the Key off of the
shaft.

Loosen the band clamp from the air inlet
hose on the air filter elbow. Remove the hose
and move out of the way.

Loosen the band clamp and remove air hose
from the engine intake manifold.

10.

Using two 13mm wrenches, remove the bolts
attaching the air filter assembly to the

mounting bracket. It is not necessary to
remove the mounting bracket.
