A pressure-balancing line connector can be attached to the place where the standard product
has the cover plug.

In principle, steam traps automatically discharge inflowing condensate. However, if low-
temperature condensate in the piping blocks the trap inlet passage, displacement inside the
piping of steam by condensate is obstructed and condensate can no longer flow into the
trap (steam-locking). Traps only function in the presence of condensate inflow. A pressure-
balancing line prevents the occurrence of steam-locking.
