1. Do not manually ignite; this heater has an auto-ignition system.
2. Check for the smell of gas in the surrounding environment before attempting to turn on the heater.
If you smell gas, do not use any electronic devices and open the windows or use a ventilating
device. If the smell doesn’t go away, please shut off the gas valve and contact the equipment
distributor or gas supplier for troubleshooting.
3. In case of equipment failure, do not try to repair the unit. Contact your local dealer for repair or
replacement.
4. Visually check the pilot and burner flame periodically. If the flame is yellow and large, please cut off
the power immediately to confirm whether it is the correct gas source.
5. If the flame is yellow, there may be insufficient oxygen, causing insufficient combustion.
6. If the flame is blue and small, confirm the gas pressure is correct. See drawing on next page.
7. The heat value produced by the Ares Garden Heater is approx. 38,500 Btu/hr. Make sure that the
heat will not adversely affect the objects in the area around the heater (such as plants, other
equipment, etc.).
