which stands for Set User Bits.
1. Switch on your :pulse unit (see
Switch :pulse On and Off on page 50
).
If your :pulse is running in
EXT-RF Slave
mode, continue from step 2.
If your :pulse is free running or running in a master mode, ignore steps 2-8
and continue from step 9.
2. Press the control knob.
3. Turn the control knob to scroll to the
TC Generator
option.
4. Press the control knob.
5. Turn the control knob to select the
Local or EXT U/B
option.
6. Press the control knob.
7. Turn the control knob to choose the option you require:
l
Use EXT Source U/B
- your :pulse will receive its user bits settings from
an external source. These will be applied to the :pulse automatically. If
you select this option, you do not need to define the User Bits settings.
l
Use Locally Set U/B
- your :pulse will use its own user bits settings and
will ignore any user bits data that it receives in timecode from the
master. If you choose this option, you will need to set the User Bits on
your :pulse.
8. Press the control knob to confirm your selection.
9. Press the control knob.
10. Turn the control knob to scroll to the
TC Generator
