2-2 MIRUS Controller, SW 2.03.02, Additional Information Master (en-GB)
2.1 General safety information
2.1.1 Safe operation
If the MIRUS Controller is not used as described in the Instructions for use, this may endanger
the patient and other persons or cause equipment damage.
The user should familiarise themselves with these Instructions for use before putting the
MIRUS Controller into service, and must follow them during use.
Only use the MIRUS Controller as described in these Instructions for use.
Keep these Instructions for Use readily accessible.
2.1.2 Symbols and product labels
If the symbols and product labels are not heeded, this may endanger the patient and other
persons or cause equipment damage.
Pay attention to all symbols and product labels.
Replace damaged product labels.
2.1.3 Electrical supply
If the MIRUS Controller is connected to a mains power supply that does not meet
specifications, this may result in equipment damage.
Observe the mains power supply specifications in Chapter 8.2 and on the rating plate.
If the MIRUS Controller is connected to a mains power supply without a protective earth
conductor, there is a danger of electric shock.
Only connect the MIRUS Controller to a mains power supply with a protective earth
conductor.
To disconnect the MIRUS Controller from the power supply, pull out the connector from the
MIRUS Controller.
