Thuraya SeaStar Firmware Upgrade Procedure
1.
Prerequisite: Your SeaStar firmware version is V 1.0 (Check under Settings > About >
Firmware Version)
2.
Get a USB flash drive in
FAT32
format (<32GB)
3.
Copy the ‘update.zip’ file onto it (to root, not inside any folder)
4.
Power off the SeaStar
5.
Connect the USB Flash drive to the micro USB port of the SeaStar using the included
OTG cable (OTG cable present in SeaStar box).

Power on the SeaStar.
7.
After initiali20 s you should get a message prompt saying that an úpgrade file
has been detected. Scroll down & select “’Ínstall’”
