6.3 Troubleshooting
· The TXP5016 does not work at all; the LED ON does not light up
Ø
Check for proper power supply connection
Ø
Check if the line fuse is blown. See Replacing the Line Fuse .
Ø
Check if the mains switch is turned on

The TXP5016 works, but not the TXP module
Ø Is the module inserted correctly and has the ejector handle snapped into its position?
Insert the module in the desired slot, flip the black ejector handle upwards until the red
locking button clicks out and tighten all mounting screws properly.
Ø
The internal fuse of the corresponding slot might have blown.
Exchange the corresponding fuse ( see
Replacing the Internal Fuses )

The TXP5016 does not respond to the connected computer via LAN
Ø Is the software installed properly?
See section
Installing Software .
Ø
Is the ethernet interface configured properly ? See section Network Configuration .
Ø
Do you use the correct network cable?

Use the cross-over cable for direct connection of the TXP5016 to the network port of
your PC.
o
Use the standard patch cable for connection of the TXP5016 to the LAN.
Ø
Did you change the IP address of your TXP5016 recently?
Switch off the TXP5016 and switch it on again. This might be required in order to
recognize the TXP5016 as a new network device.
