operation of the thermocutter and the use of materials (blades) not of our suppply will exclude any warranty
WARNING: Non compliance with the present safety instructions may lead to fi re, explosions, electric shock or
burnings
during work with the thermocutter. Read the operating instructions before use and always strictly observe the
safety instructions. Keep the operating instructions with the device and hand these instructions over to any operator who is
not yet familiar with operation of the device.
WARNING: A damaged device housing or an open device may cause a mortal electric shock.
Do not open the device
and do not connect a damaged device to the power supply. Do not drill any holes into the housing, for example for fi xing a
nameplate. Disconnect the power supply connecting plug prior to any work on the device.
WARNING: A damaged connecting cable may cause a mortal electric shock.
Inspect the connecting cable regularly.
Do not connect the device when the connecting cable is damaged. Only specialists are authorized to carry out the
necessary replacements. Do not wind the cable around the device and protect it against oil, heat and sharp edges. Do not
use the cable for carrying the device and do not use it for pulling the plug out of the socket.
WARNING: Do not work when it is raining or in moist or wet environments. This may cause a mortal electric shock.
Take care that the thermocutter is protected against moisture and keep it in a dry place. Connect thermocutters used at the
outside via a residual current protective switch. Do not heat up any liquids.
WARNING: Risk of explosion! Hot or incandescent thermocutters may cause explosions of burnable liquids and
gases. Do not work in environments bearing a risk of explosion.
Do not work in the vicinity of fuels or gas tanks, even
if they are empty.
WARNING: Fire hazard! The use of the thermocutter with synthetic materials, rubber, paints or similar materials
may release gases susceptible to ignite and to explode.
Be aware of the risk of open fi re and always have appropriate
fi re extinguishing means at your disposal. Lay the thermocutter and hot blades into a fi reproof substrate only.
WARNING: Danger of intoxication! The use of the thermocutter with synthetic materials, rubbers, paints or similar
materials releases gases that are in most cases aggressive or toxic.
Avoid breathing-in of vapors, even if they
are generally recognized as safe. Please also consider possible dangers for your colleagues. Use suitable respiratory
equipment, or preferably install the necessary air exhaust equipment.
WARNING: Danger of injury! Touching of the hot thermocutter blade or of the cutter head burns your skin.
Keep
away children and other persons from the device. Keep the thermocutter in a place inaccessible for children.
CAUTION: Danger of overheating! Incorrect handling may damage the device.
The inside of the thermocutter contains
protective equipment against overheating. Inappropriate use of the thermocutter and especially the use of unsuitable
blades will result in damages. Locking of the on/off actuator is prohibited when the thermocutter is in the ON position!! As
far as possible, the blades used must be mounted and positioned in a way to ensure that the heated parts of the blade do
not come out the cutting material.
Raw material recycling instead of waste disposal.
The thermocutter itself, as well as its accessories and the packaging
material must be recycled in order to protect our environment and according to the local regulations in your country. We
also take back old thermocutters. The thermocutter is in conformity with the RoHS guideline (guideline for the restriction of
certain hazardous substances).
