6. 1. 

Cleaning of Rotor and Septa

After use, disassemble and clean the septa, shaft, metal ring, seal packing, and O-ring.

Cleaning procedure:

Wash it with distilled water at 40 – 50 °C after use, and wipe off water with a soft cloth. After fully drying it, coat it with 

stopcock grease.

Immediately after a corrosive sample was used, immerse the rotor in neutral detergent (excluding those containing 

chlorine) diluted with lukewarm water and rinse it sufficiently in distilled water.

Removal of metal ring

Remove it with the accessory screwdriver or the like which has a thin flat end.
