5. Unscrew the threaded standoff and remove the retainer clip that secures the heater ring

and lens assembly to the ion source block. See

6. Pull the heater ring and lens assembly out of the ion source block.

7. Remove the retainer clip that secures the filament and centering ring to the ion source

block.
